Shares in agricultural chemicals company Nufarm rallied 8% to $4.81 yesterday after posting a 3% increase in yearly profit to $111 million.

While revenue and underlying profit fell, the results were better than expected for agriculture-exposed stocks as widespread destocking due to higher interest rates and expectations of lower ingredients prices hit the industry.
